 Auctioneer’s Note: The Logan’s have been lifelong residence of Lincoln County. They were married in 1937. They moved to the Silex area in 1940 where Mr. Logan started Logan Motor Company selling Pontiac cars & International trucks along with a garage and selling St.Clair gas. He started farming and was instrumental in developing the tract of land now known as WM Logan Conservation area. He was on the Missouri Highway Commission and the Mississippi River Parkway commission and board member of the Silex Bank. Ruth worked alongside her husband in the business, and was an active 4-H Leader. The Logan’s were very active in the Democratic Party and loved to entertain. There’s no way to list it all.
