AUCTIONEER’S NOTE Mary and Elmer were married 50 years. Elmer was raised in the Old Monroe area then moved to St. Charles County. Elmer retired from Fork Lift of St. Louis. He was a mechanic by trade but did landscaping on the side. He truly enjoyed his shop and tinkering on his farm. Elmer never met a stranger and always had time to share a story from the past.
