Auctioneer’s Note: Mike’s family was from the Rhineland area. He joined the Air Force when he was 17 and served in the Korean War. They owned the TV, Appliance & Radio Repair in Wright City. Then he was a Shelter Insurance Agent until 1998, won numerous awards and was known as Mr. Hustle. They traveled extensively. Mike was the past mayor of Wright City, member of Ducks Unlimited and founding member of the Paris Quail Unlimited and sat on multiple boards. They loved to attend auctions, it was a family venture collecting carnival glass and firearms. He was 85 and married 54 years when he passed.
