Auctioneer’s Note: Headley & Theresa were truly, 2 special people. They were both born and raised just a few miles apart and settled on their farm in 1940. They truly enjoyed life together. They owned and operated, with Shafers & Thornhills, Farmer’s Butchering & Processing. Headley was a true picker. He was putting it away when most were throwing it away. He loved to trade, especially with the Amish. He and Theresa enjoyed hunting for Indian Artifacts in our area. They enjoyed going to our local schools to Show & Tell stories about Black Hawk & the artifacts that were left behind. Theresa had a special way about telling stories to the children and was known by most as Aunt Theresa. Theresa lived to be 92 and still enjoyed sharing her stories with her great grandchildren & family. This will be the end of their years of collecting. Please Note: The sheds are full. I’m sure there will be a lot of Barn Finds. See you at the sale. David, Dusty & Bill
NOTE: In case of rain, the sale may be moved to our Thornhill Auction Barn; 421 John Deere Drive; Troy, MO 63379. Watch our website.
