AUCTIONEER’S NOTE: 2 prime, upland tillable tracts in an area where farms seldom change hands. Tract #1 was bought from Mary Bauer in 1950 & Tract #2 was bought in 1959, so these farms have been in the Francis M. and Edith A. Bauer Family for 60 & 69 years. Francis lived to be 88 & Edith was 85. Francis was a 2nd generation farmer. They were both faithful members of St. Alphonsus Parish in Millwood. Francis was a member of the Knights of Columbus, board member of Farm Bureau and on the Lincoln County Soil & Water District. They were both active in 4H as leaders. Truly stewards of the land raising a family of 8 on the family farm.
