Auctioneer’s Note: Rosemary lived to be 86, her maiden name was Kappelmann. Lester & his brother Butch, ran the Schaper store in Moscow Mills. Butch ran the meat counter, Lester ran the grocery side & later the lawn mower repair, this store was truly a landmark in Moscow Mills (now known as Harry J’s Steak House). Lester served his country in the Navy & returned home to the family business that his dad Fred had started. Great family, great people that helped a lot of the locals, by letting people buy today & pay when you can, when a man’s handshake & his word was his bond, when farmers gathered on Main Street to trade their eggs or sell chickens to buy groceries, yes those were the good old days. Lester’s shop is full, so please note this is a partial list. See you at the sale. David, Dusty & Bill.
